Corris Revisited 2007.

After Easter eight choir boys and four adults visited Corris in mid-Wales for a few days. We stayed in the Youth Hostel and had an action-packed time! Everywhere the boys were complemented on their pleasant, well-mannered behaviour, which was pleasing. We all enjoyed the hostel’s home-cooked food, and the warmth of its log-fires and welcome. Some of us enjoyed re-visiting the Slaters’ Arms too!

We explored King Arthur’s Labyrinth, going beyond the waterfall, because we wanted to go there! There was swimming in Machynlleth and Tywyn, quad biking in the hills at hundreds of kilometres per hour, crabbing at Aberystwyth – I think Bryn was the champion with eighteen! We played golf at Fairbourne, and Tom was the champion here. We walked up the valley – and down again, of course – fell in the river, played Poohsticks and football and, surprise of surprises, we all slept at night!

This was good fun and a fine way to conclude our busy Lent, Holy Week and Easter activities.
