Welcome to our website.
The choir at St Mary's is a traditional Anglican choir
of men and boys. The photograph above was taken in St Mary's, by Imran Ali, on Sunday 5th
March 2006.
The boys practise twice a week from 7-8pm on Mondays and 7-8.30pm
on Fridays. Entry is by audition with the Director of Music at St Mary's, Peter Miller.
Membership of the choir is quite a commitment, with two Services on Sunday in addition to
regular practices and occasional additional Services and engagements. However, I think
most of the choristers would agree that it isn't all hard work, with outings and activities
arranged whenever possible!
